Friendship in the workplace: It’s lonely at the top

Before March 2020 and the Covid lockdowns that followed, many of us saw our co-workers just as often, if not more so, than our friends and family.

The pandemic saw these relationships alter and many have found maintaining and fostering new work connections particularly difficult when working virtually.

Friendship plays an important role in why we stay at work and why we become engaged at work.
